Skydive Arizona features the largest skydiving fleet in the world, a wind tunnel, and six annual boogies. They attract fun jumpers from around the world, feature military free fall and canopy training, and also provide skydiving stunt work for feature films and commercials.
Skydive Arizona has a large gear store, full service rigging, the Bent Prop restaurant and bar, and even indoor skydiving right on site. There are plenty of places for skydivers to stay on location, including team rooms and a bunkhouse. There are also RV hookups, with tent camping for free year round.
If you’re staying off-site, the Best Western and Casa Grande both offer VIP shuttle service for their skydiving guests.
Load organizers work 7 days a week during the summer and on weekends during the winter months. All styles and skill disciplines are available, from relative work, freeflying, angle flying, and wingsuiting.
Additionally, Skydive Arizona also has full showers, a fitness facility, team rooms for debriefing, and you can even get massages, acupuncture, and Pilates instruction at the Toltec Wellness Center located on the drop zone. There’s even a pool!
If you’re looking to pull a Billy Baldwin and “Cutaway” to live that drop zone life, you couldn’t choose a better spot than SDAZ.
Skydiving Training
Skydive Arizona has some of the best skydiving training in the world. Axis flight school conducts free fall training, tunnel training, and canopy courses from beginners to pros. They also have a camera flying skills course, and competitive team coaching.
Flight-1 is on-campus and ready to teach canopy skills from beginners to professional competition swoopers. They also conduct military canopy coaching with specialized equipment to time flares. With some instructors having more than 30,000 skydives, you know you’ll be in good hands.
Arizona Airspeed, current national champion team in 4-way formation skydiving, is also available for coaching. Skyventure Arizona, the indoor skydiving tunnel on-site, has its own suite of tunnel coaches and a specific skill progression program that will have you carving head down with the cool kids.
